Wednesday’s season premiere was my first episode of Bones and I have to say: me likey! Going by the commercials for the show I thought Bones = J.A.C.P (Just Another Crime Procedural). Well it’s anything but that.

I caught the second half of New Amsterdam on Fox. I’m not sure what execs at Fox are thinking: premiering a new show to an apathetic audience, with little marketing, against two well-performing reality shows, at a time when the presidential race is scoring record ratings for cable news networks. TV Alum: John Cena
WWE superstar John Cena will star in 12 Rounds, the latest production from WWE Films. The film will be the first released under a new distribution partnership between the WWE and 20th Century Fox. Cena will play Detective Danny Baxter, whose girlfriend is kidnapped (surprise, surprise) by a NOLA crime lord. Filming begins February 18th in the Big Easy with theatrical release scheduled for 2009.
