News hit this week that the Richard Branson-backed co-venture with Indian comic publishing house Gotham Entertainment is no more. …a TV Angel report a few months ago from the New York ComciCon. The Sci Fi channel announced their plans to release five titles in collaboration with Virgin Comics, first as comic books then as television series. The Stranded and Superbia were the first two properties slated for development by the TV net. No word yet how the collapse of Virgin Comics might impact the Sci Fi channel’s plans but its certain to put a glitch in the matrix, n’est pas?
